The Pack Mind
This painting was inspired by the writings of science fiction author Vernor Vinge. In "A Fire Upon the Deep", Mr. Vinge describes a race of beings that are wolf-like and share a "pack mind"..that is to say a group of 4 or 5 individuals make up one being. They all share the same mind and are the same being. The painting was made with coffee, oil and acrylic paints, and photo collage. |
